  3. Welcome to the Laser Printer Companion from BlackLightning.
  4. This is a collection of articles which appeared in The Flash 
  5. newsletter, The Premier Journal of Laser Printing.
  6.  
  7. Getting Started:
  8.  
  9.     1. Open the "MAC" folder.
  10.     2. Read the "ReadME.TXT" and "Contents.TXT" files
  11.     3. Double click on the file "Laser Printer Companion.CTL"
  12.     4. This launches the TextWare version of the Laser Companion.
  13.     5. In the "_TEXT" folder are TEXT versions of the Laser Companion
  14.         For alternate uses (WORD and others Applications).
  15.     6. The images can also be found in the Laser Companion, in a variety
  16.         of formats.  These images are not clip art!  All rights reserved.

  18.      TextWare Hints:
  19.          Help is available under the "Apple" Menu.
  20.          For more detailed help, double click on the "_TWDOC.CTL" icon.
  21.  
  22.          The first "CARD" is the Table of contents and provides 
  23.          a directory of information on this CD.  Use the "GO TO CARD#"
  24.          command under the "OPTIONS" menu to navigate around.

  26.       * Image Printing Note: Choose "Black&White" in the print dialog
  27.         (Color/Grayscale takes a long time...)
  28.       * The images on this CD-ROM will require a Grayscale or color 
  29.         monitor to look their best, MacPlus or other Black and White
  30.         screens will not be able to display the image properly.
